Appointed as the permanent archive specialist and collections manager of a 500-piece private art collection.

Validarte conducted a full collections audit and review and performed collections management tasks including documentation, digitisation, research, collections care and environmental monitoring. Established object conservation priorities and plans/implements the safe storage of all works in the collection.

Our consultants have a high level of experience in surveying and appraising a large collection and working to a limited time frame.

Maintenance

Ongoing maintenance includes

• arranging the restoration of items within a given budget;
• maintain and update documentation records and database on a regular basis:
• Provide quarterly collection reports and art market updates to the client.
